  1. Well you can wash your hands more often, if you feel a sickness coming on take a day or so off from school so you don't spread it, drink a lot of water, get a lot of rest, eat healthy, try your best not to spread it to anyone, stay home, and do all your Ms. Hero homework.

  3. Keeping your hands clean is good, as not to take in the germs. Isolation of the disease is also helpful, and vaccinations help stop the spread as well. Frequent use of hand sanitizer and disinfectant can usually stop the spread of bacteria-caused diseases, but viruses are a bit harder to stop. The best to do for viruses is to try and generate a vaccine or immunity to it, and possibly quarantine.

  6. There are many ways to prevent the spread of sickness. You could wash your hands or use alcohol based disinfectors often. When you don’t feel well stay home and try to have any contact with other person. If you don’t feel well for more than a week, get a doctor’s appointment. And if you know there is a virus that you might catch, get the vaccine

  7. There are many effective ways to keep yourself safe from bacteria and viruses. One way is washing your hands frequently to keep whatever you may have picked up throughout the day out of your body. Using hand sanitizer can kill the germs, but using too much can kill the good bacteria your body needs. Having good hygiene is very important to having a cleaner world. It also decreases the chances of disease becoming out of control.

  10. There are many ways to stop the spread of viruses. Some are more obvious than others, such as washing your hands constantly or something more painful as vaccines. Also, if you don't think this is enough you can stay away from the infected people so you won't come in contact with them. Don't forget that personal hygiene is one of the most important factors to the survival of the human race. Amen.

  12. Some ways to prevent, treat, or stop a virus are keeping your self clean and also having good hygiene. Obvisouly when your out, using hand sanitizer or disinfectant is a very good way to prevent any virus, if you don't have time to wash your hands. Tamiflu and other antivirals also help control the spread of a virus. Other ways to keep yourself safe or keep others from getting the virus are to cover the nose or mouth when coughing or sneezing with a tissue. Also, covering your cough or sneeze with a bent elbow will help prevent others getting the virus. These are the different ways to stop, prevent, or treat a virus.

  13. The main way we learned, in class, to stop an outbreak of a disease would be to get vaccines. That way the disease would be trapped in a circle of immune people. As stated in the article, the campers that we sick were treated and sent home. But the people near them were also pulled aside and given antivirals, so that they didn't become sick. This was the camps way of isolating the disease. Other ways to stop the spread of disease would be to use disinfectents, cover your nose and mouth whan you cough or sneeze, and to not touch your eyes, nose, or mouth. Those openings in your body are where pathogens, like the N1H1 virus, can get in and make you sick.

  14. The best way to stop an outbreak is to get a vaccine so that when the real virus or diasease comes around it won't get you sick. Another good approach would be to wash your hands because that way a significant number of germs and diaseases can't get into your body through hand to mouth contact. The good way of stoping spread of germs is to cover your mouth when you snezze or cough.

  15. To make sure you don't get sick you can wash your hands, get vaccinated, and using hand sanitizer. By washing your hands, it prevents you from getting a virus and it kills the bacteria. If you get vaccineated, it gives you a little portion of the disease so your immune system can fight if off. When the real disease id going around, your immune system will be ready to fight that disease and it will make sure that you won't get it. By using hand sanitizer often, it will kepp the bacteria from spreading. It is very important to make sure that you get vaccinated, wash your hands, and use hand sanitizer to prevent yourself from getting sick. If you keep up with these three things, you will be healthy and will have a strong immune system.

  16. We can effectively stop the spread of diseases by washing our hands, by taking antibiotics,and/or getting vacinated. We can also use hand sanitizers although bacteria can become immune to the disinfectant. Also you can isolate anyone who is infected with the virus so that that person cannot spread it to others that they are associated with. People can also be educated on proper hygiene such as where to cough and sneeze, and to wash your hands right away to eliminate bacteria.

  18. Stopping the spread of viruses is tough to do, but not impossible. A great start would be keeping good hand hygene, which is how some viruses are passed on. This helps kill off many viruses on your hand. Another way of stoping viruses could be vaccines. Vaccines will immuninize you from viruses. Lastly, block off viruses could help prevent getting any form of the virus.

  19. There are a couple of key ways to keep from catching a virus. One is to WASH YOUR HANDS! So many germs and viruses are passed through touching door handles, so wash your hands after you touch a door. Another way is to not share food, water, or chapstick with people. Even if the person you're sharing isn't showing signs of symptoms, that doesn't mean that they aren't sick, the virus just might not have gotten into the immune system yet. Also, using hand sanitizers is something that is really easy to do to prevent you from getting sick.
