The nervous system helps us sense
When we've fallen from a fence.
Knowing if there's sun or rain,
And when our stomach causes pain,
The work of neurons is intense.

  2. Nervous system makes us whole,
    Helps movements that we control
    When we walk
    When we talk
Even helps us whack a mole.

  3. The nerve cell is made up of many cool things
Like a cell body, synapse, and dendrites which look like tiny wings
There's also the axon which is covered in myelin
The nervous system can be so suprisin'!

  4. Neurons, cells that make up nerves,
    Run throughout our bodies' curves
    All impulses carried
    They make our lives varied
They don't get credit they deserve.

  5. The nervous system helps you move
Sends signals that let you groove
    Without it you can't react
Without it your body goes slack
The most important system this seems to prove
