  1. Smoking tobacco related products is truly a fatal attraction. Each time that a person smokes, they shorten their life span by 5-20 minutes. However, many people cannot stop because they are addicted to the nicotine that the tobacco companies put in their cigarettes. The prolonged inhalation of smoke can cause many serious side effects. Many long time smokers develop health problems like heart disease, stroke, emphysema (breakdown of lung tissue), and many types of cancer — including lung, throat, stomach, and bladder cancer. People who smoke also have an increased risk of infections like bronchitis and pneumonia. These people also experience physical changes like wrinkles, and yellow teeth. The good thing, is that people no longer light up as much as the past, because they have become aware of the serious side effects that occur.

  3. Cigarrettes contain nicotine and tobacco which is extremely addictive and also very deadly. The body and mind get used to the cigarette and after a while it needs the nicotine to feel normal. Nicotine and cyanide are poisons that can kill someone with high doses. Smoking after a while will lead a person to serious health problems like heart disease.People that smoke also have a greater chance of certain infections. Each time a person smokes it takes away a little bit of that persons life. By smoking people will eventually get wrinkles and develop yellow teeth and also loose bone density, which is why smokers are not as active as nonsmokers. Smoking causes bad breath, bad skin, bad smelling clothes and hair, increased risk of illness, and many more.

  4. Smoking is a dangerous habit that is really an addiction. However our bodies do not become addicted the first time that a person begins smoking. Actually our body reacts to being poisoned and tries to put up defenses against it. Smoking can cause pneumonia, bronchitis, heart disease, stroke, and emphysema. Also smoking can limit a persons ability to do physical activities.

  7. Smoking is probably one of the most dangerous things anybody could do to their body. Cigarette smoke contains toxic chemicals such as cyanide and highly addictive substances such as nicotine. After smoking many times, the body starts to rely on nicotine to feel normal. Long term effects can include emphysema, cancer, and heart disease. It can also make you more susceptible to illnesses, as your immune system is weakened. It is a disgusting habit; after a while, your hair, clothes, car, and even home start to smell like smoke, and that smell does not come out.
