  1. Asthma is a chronic lung disease that inflames and narrows your lungs which make it hard to breath. This disease can cause you to cough, wheeze, have a short breath and tight chest. Millions of people have asthma, which doesnt suprise me at all because my brother has a mild case of it. I think that it is sad that asthma cant be cured, even if you feel fine and dont have symptoms for a while it can flare up again and you will always have the disease. Thats why I think its important for people with asthma to aklways carry an inhaler close to them just in case of an asthma attack.

  2. Asthma is a long term lung disease that inflames and narrows the airway.Airways carry air into and out of the lungs. When you have asthma your airways get sensitive to certain substances which causes you too cough. Coughing can make airways even more swollen and the cells in the airway make the mucus thicker which makes it even more harder too breathe. asthma causes wheezes, tightness ihn the chest area, shortness of breath and coughing usuaslly in the night or early in the morning.

  3. Asthma is one of the many chronic diseases of the world. It's a lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways. People with asthma have inflammed airways, making it hard to breathe. The coughing is the body's reaction to the blocked airways, trying to reopen the airways through the wheezing. The imflammed airways are very sensitive and swollen, and react to whatever the patient is allergic to. When the allergen is breathed in, the muscles around the airways tighten, causing the airways to narrow, and cut off the air flow, or lessen it. More mucus is generated, further narrowing the airways.
At the moment, there is no cure for asthma. Though it may seem to disappear from one's body, it can flare up any time once again. There are treatments and ways to control it, however, and those offer hope, such as the inhaler, and others.

  4. Asthma is a disease which is caused by particles that enter the lungs. These particles cause the overly reactive lungs of someone wiith asthma to flare up, leading to constricted airways. This causes shortness of breath as well as coughing and wheezing. There is no cure for asthma, but current medications for it lets people with it live healthy, normal, active lives.

  7. Asthma has an affect on about 22 million people in the United States today. For many people this disease causes little problems for them now because of the medical knowledge that we have today. Asthma is caused by the inflamation of the airways. Also the muscles contract and mucus also make the airways close even more. These things all cause the symptoms of asthma. Sometimes these symptoms are so deadly that people can die from it. Asthma can be helped with communication with your doctor.

  9. Asthma is a chronic lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways. Asthma causes recurring periods of wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and coughing. When you have asthma you have inflamed airways. This makes the airways swollen and very sensitive. When the airways react, the muscles around them tighten. This causes the airways to narrow, and less air flows to your lungs. This makes it really hard for you to breathe properly. You should treat symptoms when you first notice them. This will help prevent the symptoms from worsening and causing a severe asthma attack. Sometimes symptoms are mild and go away on their own or after minimal treatment with an asthma medicine. Asthma can't be cured. Even when you feel fine, you still have the disease and it can flare up at any time.

  10. Asthma is a disease that affects a person’s breathing. When a person suffers from asthma, the airways in their lungs get smaller. This makes it harder to breathe. The combination of the muscles around the airways contracting, the walls swelling, and the excess production of mucus make for an asthma attack. Symptoms of asthma include: shortness of breath, wheezing, chest tightening, and coughing. People with asthma are often given inhalers for help. The puff helps the airways to relax, allowing air to flow more normally in and out of the lungs. While there are treatments available asthma, there is no cure.
